I hope everyone had a beautiful Thanksgiving filled with gratitude, connection, and maybe even a slice (or two!) of pumpkin pie. 💛
This time of year, always brings out the wonderment of the “kid” in me. Nostalgia is real and learning to flow through the decades of holidays is real too.
When I think back to the holidays as a child, my heart instantly goes to my mom—because she was always the entertainer. Thanksgiving. Christmas.
You name it—our home was the hub. The smells, the laughter, the chaos in the kitchen… it’s all etched into my soul.
As my sisters and I got older, traditions evolved. We began alternating Christmas Eve with our aunts. And then, when I got married and had a home of my own, I was officially brought into the rotation.
Therefore his tradition continued for years—until life, as it does, began to shift again. My aunts passed. My sisters moved to Florida. And suddenly, the holidays didn’t look the same anymore.
But we tried—oh, how we tried—to keep the traditions alive.
However, we adapted including extended family. We made room around the Christmas tree for whoever was close by. And for a while, it worked beautifully.
Then the next chapter arrived:
The children grew up.
They married. Moved to find better jobs
They built their own families and traditions.
We all created new traditions – spending Christmas in Florida!

And just like that, the holidays transformed once again.
✨ This, my friends, is what it truly means…. to “grow and flow” through the decades. ✨
Holidays are one of the most powerful mirrors of change in our lives. They gently—but sometimes emotionally—remind us that nothing stays exactly the same. And yet… everything that truly matters stays with us:
- The love
- The traditions
- The memories
- The meaning
That’s what I call living with AGE-GILITY™—the ability to adapt with grace, shift with strength, and flow with change without losing yourself in the process. We honor the past, live fully in the present, and stay open to what the next decade will bring.
We don’t lose those things—we carry them forward, just in new forms.
So, today’s Tuesday Truth is this:
💬 You can cherish your childhood memories, honor your family traditions, and still embrace new beginnings—all at the same time. Change doesn’t erase what was………It simply builds on it.
And as we move through these next weeks of the holiday season, my wish for you is this:
May you hold your memories close, keep your heart open, and allow yourself to flow forward with joy, ……grace, ……and AGE-GILITY. 💛
If this message resonated with you today, I’d love for you to share it with someone who might need a reminder that change can still be beautiful.
Until next Tuesday,
Keep moving, keep flowing, and keep living with vibrancy. ✨
Bye for now!
