Tuesday Truths February 11, 2025
Ah, February (Loveuary) is when hearts take center stage, chocolates fly off the shelves, and red roses seemingly appear out of nowhere.
But here’s a truth we don’t hear often enough: Love and kindness go beyond just romantic relationships. They extend to our friendships, family, communities, and, most importantly, ourselves.
You’ve heard of Galentine’s Day (Feb 13).
Let me remind you—this is our chance to celebrate the powerful, hilarious, and downright fabulous women in our lives.

See my blog from last year on where and how Gelatine’s Day started. https://michelerase.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1126&action=edit
It’s a day to honor female friendships, lift each other, and remind others how much we are all loved and appreciated.
Here is something you may not have known. Did you know Valentine’s Day isn’t just Feb 14? That’s right—a whole Week of Love is leading up to it! (Don’t panic if you missed a day or two—there’s still time to join the fun!)
- Feb 7: Rose Day – Exchange roses to express affection (or grab a bouquet because you deserve it!).
- Feb 8: Propose Day – Make a bold declaration—whether it’s love, friendship, or a dream you’re finally going after.
- Feb 9: Chocolate Day – Gift chocolates or indulge yourself with your favorite treat.
- Feb 10: Teddy Day – It’s all about cozy comfort—share a plush teddy or snuggle up with your own!
- Today…… February 11 is Promise Day – Make meaningful promises to yourself or others.
- I’m promising to keep empowering YOU to embrace AGE-GILITY!
- Feb 12: Hug Day – Share a hug or two—or as many as possible—because science says they boost happiness!
- Feb 13: Kiss Day – Share a kiss or blow one into the mirror because self-love counts, too!
- Feb 14: Valentine’s Day – Celebrate all kinds of love—romantic, platonic, and everything in between.

Spread Kindness and Empowerment…………
Whether you’re exchanging roses, chocolates, or hugs this week, the best gift of all is kindness—and the beauty of kindness is that it costs nothing yet has infinite value.
So, let’s focus on lifting each other.
Here’s how you can celebrate Gelatine Love and empowerment this week:
- Write a love note—to a friend! Tell them why they inspire you.
- Plan a Galentine’s coffee or Zoom chat. Celebrate your sisterhood!
- Do a random act of kindness. Surprise someone by paying for their coffee or leaving a note of encouragement.
- Practice self-love. Pamper yourself unapologetically—get those flowers, light the candles, and do whatever makes your heart happy.
Therefore, this season, let’s spread love in all forms—to our friends, families, and especially to ourselves.
As the saying goes: “Empowered women empower women.” And that is something worth celebrating this February and every month of the year!
“Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it, possibly without claiming it, stand up for all women.” ~Maya Angelou
But here’s the more profound truth—embracing love, friendship, and kindness isn’t just seasonal; it’s part of living with AGE-GILITY.
You create space for authentic connections and lasting impact when you embrace your truths—about who you are, what you value, and how you show up in the world. This could be through meaningful conversations, acts of kindness, or standing up for your beliefs.
So, this February, celebrate LOVE; let’s practice kindness, embrace and trust our truths, and commit to lifting ourselves and others.
Together, we can build a life full of love, purpose, and endless possibilities!
After all, the most beautiful part of the journey is sharing it with others. I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences in the comments below. Let’s continue this conversation and inspire each other!
Cheers to a season of love, truth, and agility! 😊
