Long before Facebook, I was already a social networker — just without Wi-Fi! I’ve always been a social butterfly — fluttering from conversation to conversation, connecting people everywhere I go building social brilliance.
Then—along came social media, and my wings went digital!
At first, Facebook was just a fun way to reconnect with classmates —But soon, it became a bridge between my past, the present, my passions, and my purpose.
Connection Re-imagined
Facebook reconnected me with friends, colleagues, and my dental hygiene community.
Then came my Rodan + Fields skincare side gig — and I became admin of several Facebook groups.
It just felt natural — connecting, sharing, helping others feel confident and vibrant. It’s not about followers — it’s about meaningful connections.
The easiest part for me? — Being my authentic self.
Therefore whether I’m sharing what skincare works, coaching women after retirement, or promoting AGE-GILITY, it’s all me.
I don’t need to create a character — I am my own avatar. That realness draws like-minded followers who share my values.
Authenticity attracts authenticity.
Evolution of Influence
As my confidence grew, I branched out — LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram.
I started my weekly “Tuesday Truths” LIVE — sharing lessons and laughs.— best public speaking practice ever!
Those online moments led to speaking invitations, programs, and books — all through AGE-GILITY.
When you show up with purpose, new doors open—sometimes ones you never saw coming.
Looking back, being a social butterfly wasn’t about fluttering from place to place—
it was about spreading joy, encouragement, and purpose.
Today, social media gives me wings that reach the world.
Building a presence isn’t about filters or followers. It’s about being present—and sharing your light with purpose.
